All questions and submissions need to be sent to Melissa Panton, Registrar.
One of the responsibilities of PEICNM is to investigate all complaints received from employers, members, clients, or the public regarding the conduct of a nurse or midwife in PEI. Any person can make a complaint to the Registrar.
PEICNM cannot accept complaints by telephone, and we cannot accept anonymous complaints. PEICNM cannot help an individual write a complaint, nor can we advise you what should be written or included.
When a complaint is filed, documents that are relevant may be attached to clearly explain or support the complaint.
When the complaint is received by PEICNM, it will be acknowledged by email.
The registrant involved will be sent the complaint and given the opportunity to respond, which must be done within 30 days.
